Born in 2019, Nailoong was created by Chengen Xie as a gift for both kids and grown-ups.He hoped that, just like Nailoong, we could all face life’s pressures with a smile, and bounce back from challenges with optimism and ease. So he poured his own warmth and gentle humor into the character—giving Nailoong a soft bouncing belly, bright sunny yellow skin, big round eyes full of sincerity, and alovable, slightly goofy head. And that’s how Nailoong came to life.

From a young age, Xie Cheng’en, creator of Nailoong, loved drawing and dreamed of making animated films. After two years of self-study, he entered the animation industry, rising from junior animator to director in six years, ultimately bringing Nailoong to life.

Inspired by today’s fast-paced, stressful world, Xie Cheng’en wanted to create a character that brings joy, warmth, and comfort. He spent nearly six months perfecting every detail.

By early 2020, Nailoong became a hit through short videos, winning the hearts of kids and adults alike, and quickly gained international popularity. With endless joy and companionship, Nailoong brightens every moment and spreads smiles everywhere.
